A flare

Surviving the adversaries, flowing and passing by
So many are lives, altogether happily existing
Amongst them is the one, Yours and mine
All alike, like You and i, everyone’s glowing

But my Lord

For your sake, consequences never be so cruel
To a soul, that he loses his being mere sole
Else, a well woven, laughing face will have to depart
Before its time, your this world, never to resurrect

Why, my Lord, a flare of life, extinguishes so coldly
Why Lord, a flame of life, of soul, will end so early
From the blazing sunshine, and the beautiful morning dew
We all receive joy evenly, rejuvenating, and again and anew

Is it too much that I ask for her to be my friend
As here, in this friendship I see my stirring world
But Lord please, my only wish should not be sacrificed
Else, a smiling bunch of flowers will forever be wilted

Why, a flare of life extinguishes so early, my Lord
Please, never be so to a flame of life, please, oh God
